When we posted our series on Dime, Jaap was contacted by gfr789 who proposed to send his tape recording for the Florence show. Just recently he did it and the wait was really worth it!
This show never circulated before and it’s very good!
I edited the tracks and reworked it for two cd-r’s.
I upgraded some little defaults:
I deleted a little gap at 1’14 on “Catfish Blues”
I upgraded a little gap between “Catfish Blues” & “Sweet Sixteen”
At the end of “Sweet Sixteen” Mayall indicates “The Stumble” but then decides to announce a new 3-day old song inspired by the people he met in Florence called “Italiano Style” (a MT guitar festival!!!)
There was a gap at the end of “Italiano Style” coming from the tape flip: it begins with some tape default then there's a gap at 6’30: I connected both segments the best I could but some variation is still listenable.
I also deleted a little gap at 53 seconds in “Ridin’ On To Santa Fe”.
As usual all the infos are taken from The Mick Taylor’s Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf: [

A big thank to my usual partners in crime nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave critics and advise regarding my work. Of course a big thanks to gfr789 for sending his tape: it’s an excellent show with a great audience and the fun that the musicians had is very noticeable. It’s also a great pleasure for every blues-, Mick Taylor- and John Mayall-fan!
