I think that Gazza once pointed out that "Dog Shit" was in fact an off the cuff comment by Bill on TV about how songs could evolve in the studio and was taken literally by M.E. who wrote this in in the first edition of his book released in 1990 even adding that Bill must have been p*ssed off because he didn't play bass on the track ;-)

This sounds a lot like "Love You Too Much" funkified with the "Too Much Blood" horns. I suppose they had some time left on the meter in the Bahamas in 1983 so just had a go at it. Mick must have really liked that song because it has to be one for which we have the largest number of different versions !

OT but have you noticed there's a bunch of new DW outtakes that have recently appeared on Nico Zentgraf's site :

- The Darker Side Of Me
- Golden Opportunity
- Hard To Carry On
- I Don’t Wanna Hurt You
- I Got A Hard-On For You Baby
- I Need Your Love
- In Love
- My Kind Of Rubbish
- Right Now

Logically one can assume they were under locks in the hands of a handful of collectors and they're "about" (read : next year?) to be given a wider circulation?

Weird that there would still be some unknown songs from the DW sessions ! They would have to come from the NYC sessions then since some of them would have had to be overheard and captured by the fans outside the studio...

Just noticed this too : "- Strictly Memphis II (MJ/KR) -only MJ on lead vocals, used later as demo for Primitive Cool; unverified" - These songs don't strike me as being very similar...but then I never managed to hear "Strictly Memphis" on the 1975 Rotterdam Tapes as some have claimed.
