Nope, 2 different songs.

The CW™ drum sound is unique and (I may be wrong but) I hear an open G guitar which is another clue to put this song in the "genuine outtake" category.

For me Dog Shit reminds Too Much Blood (similar Horn section). It is very nice to listen to it and yes, it can be admitted that it is not an RS track. This shows how the Stones were experimenting at the time. The material that was created during these sessions is very different from previous songs from Some Girls or Emotional Rescue. I often comeback to UC sessions/outtakes I am waiting for more.
So, Dog Shit comes from final Bahamas Sessions 1983? (according to Nico site).
In addition, Martin Elliott, reports that Pretty Beat Up was known as Dog Shit ...

Funny that the brass sounds exactly like the brass on SW (imo).

Well, i like both songs. Dog shit and the Dog. although Dog shit sounds a bit like
a Dutch band playing , called De Dijk.
Definitely the Stones are kicking ass, on both songs.

As far as I know Pretty Beat Up had the working titles Triple X and X-mas Issue.
I guess it was either Bill German or Bill Wyman who mixed it up with Dog Shit around the time when Undercover was released.
