Hi all,
I recently got a new computer Win 10 and I wanted to instal uTorent.

On my old Win XP i sued uTorent version 2.2.1 and was working great.

Now the 2.2.1 is no longer available and I wanted to know which version is stable and works best.

I read here in the past of some people on this site mentioing which version was best.

Thanks in advance for any info and help.

I am on Windows 10 and using utorrent 3.5.3 (build 44494) 32 bit

Beware of some of the newest versions of UT as they have a huge security flaw.
Sites that rely on torrent protocol recommend you use an old version of UT which is less complex and backdoor-free.

I use utorrent 3.1.2 on Windows 10. No problems here, even with VPN.

Yes, avoid the newer versions. Lots of issues.

I couldn't get uTorrent to work on my Win10 either. I use Vuze now, get pop up notifications but my PC virus catcher won't open them

Utorrent quit working for me a couple of years ago and I went with QBittorrent, it worked fine up until three weeks ago when a new update messed it up, so I went back to version3.3.9 and it works fine again, every time I start it it asks me if I want to go to version 4.1.1 and I click NO!

I use qBittorrent too and also the newest version 4.1.1 works fine for me (on Windows 7).

oldApps is a good (and safe) resource for old versions of apps we like.
