If this is true, he was there, but didn't do much. At least he is not on most tracks on the album. I don't know on which outtakes he plays. The chaos around the band wasn't his cup of tea I guess. Ron and Charlie were totally out of it at the time obviously.

He's so effortlessly stylish, and his face is so stern and angular...it reminds me a bit of Peter Cushing. He would be oddly intimidating to approach, especially at that time in his life.

What does it mean "commander" (with automatic gearbox perhaps)?

Don't worry Ouroux, it's just me. I refer to Jagger as Commander since he's a "Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire".

He's actually a "Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire" (KBE), a plain old "Commander" is just a CBE.

Charlie usually looks at stuff before signing.When he was doing his solo gig in London many years back,I got him to sign a copy of iorr magazine,the one with him on the cover.He flicked through the small magazine before signing,and asked "What's this?".I explained and he signed.
Nice footage of the boys.No wonder they now have so much security.It must have been a constant pain being surrounded by fans.

Seems a shame that things have to be so secretive (it seems)....making a new record is hardly the most precious of issues in the world (even for Stones fans).

Bill can be seen in the footage twice. He was there, but as he was probably the only core member at the time not taking any kind of uppers, he went earlier than the others, not after sunrise where most footage here was shot - he was most probably already gone by then.
I guess this was his common practise and is one of the reasons why he isn't on all tracks (not only on Dirty Work).
