Thank you for this one!
When I look at the frequency it looks like a mono recording. Someone else has discovered this or am I wrong?

The file I upoaded two days ago in FLAC is a converted version which I split.

I have sent the raw file to two users for remaster. For some reason they have both problems opening the file, so I have sent the converted flac version as well. But when I convert from VWV to FLAC the size of the file goes from 1,6B to 595 MB

Which format is your raw uncut file? You wrote in the beginning of wmv which means windows media video. That wouldn' t make sense. Maybe you' re talking about wma windows media audio? Can you please verify the original source? WMA would mean a lossy file like mp3 or did you use windows media audio lossless?

I agree, it dos not make sense. It is only audio, but the file is noted on my computer as a WAV file for some reason.
I can open it on my computer without problems and listen to the file.

I am useing wavepad to change the format to flac, but then loose quite a bit of MBs. Any surgestions on which software to use instead,

thanks guys for your efforts, I hope you can listen to the recording sometime soon :-)

Ok. Got it now. The original source is a wav-file. WMV was only a typo then.
Thanks for verifying!!

Yup, 2 channel but both the same = mono.

These flac files are sampled at 96000 that's why some folks may not be able to open them

Thanks Henrik!

to mkk1: There must have been something happened with your wav-file when you have converted it to flac. It looks totally different to the original raw file and is in mono not stereo.
Can you please tell me how you converted it? Maybe you can do it again and look at the settings. The result shouldn' t be in mono.
