As Tioms writes, postal rates are very high and for CDs or DVDs, we can only get a more or less decent postage price if we send without jewelcase or box.
Not only the weight, but also the dimensions (not only width, but also height) play a role in postage costs; a 250 gr letter size envelope will cost less than a 50 gr LP size envelope.

Speaking for DoCD in a letter, which us the usual way: Normal shipping - not insured or registered - is just around 3 EUR, maybe 4, from France to Germany. Registered maybe 7. You don't need to send a DOCD set as parcel, which may costs around 15 EURO. Benelux prices are probably similar; only Swiss prices are far higher.

100 - 350 gr: 7.38 Euro (rest of the world 8.70 Euro)
