Erm, to quote Somerset Maugham, "God tempers the wind to the shorn lamb." I wouldn't be so sure it's all Rod the Modz doing. But think of it this way... wouldn't you rather listen to a smokin hot 72 show than some uneven, drunked out 75 show? Also, 45 mins was the norm 40 years ago. It's only recently that performers have dusted off their hubris and concluded how perfectly acceptable it is to stun your audience into a coma by going way past the point of interest and taking the BOREDOM NEXT STOP exit offa the A9...

That would be shame on you for not knowing the facts. Rod tried to reform the band the entire decade of the 90's, then he got throat cancer. Mac actually toured with Rod half the decade. Ronnie was the reason it never happened because the Stones blacked out his calendar the entire decade.

And this was an all day show, with the Faces coming on at the end.
