You open the file in a wave editor. If the waveform shows a sudden 'drop' in the higher frequency area it's an indication the recording is 'lossy'.

The first four tracks of 'The Faces 1972 BBC Radio 1 Sessions - FM - Freeman's Saturday Rock Show.rar' are from the february 17, 1972 show (great performance & great sound). Does anybody have the complete show (radiobroadcast) from that date?

Adding a little more confusion: Nico Zentgraf's database lists a Minnesota show on April 23 instead of April 24. The setlist on the Rockin' Rott artwork is identical to the setlist filed as Indianapolis, May 13, 1973 in Nico's database...
