Waldbühne Berlin, 1965

After the sad news yesterday I thought we all need some good news as well.

Is anybody else aware that there's a pro-recording of the above mentioned show? It seems to be almost ready for release and I hope it shows up soon.

The Stones shows pre-1969, the band's sound, is occulted by the attendant teenie screams. The Paris 1965 show in wh. Charlie introduces "Little Red Rooster" is good because you can hear the intricate interplay between Keith & Brian. The afore mentioned 65 show suffers from 'teenie'itis' - screams screams and more screams.

Really, it's not worth the dosh to have it, even if you're a collector. "Charlie is my Darling" is good because you can hear the band more. But really, try and cop a listen to this before you buy or I'm afraid you'll feel your £ were wasted.

The problem is that we have so little pre-1969 that just about anything is collectible (and saleable). Even my lowly Ready-Steady-Go recordings from 1964/65 which I posted here were copied & released by DAC.

I'd like to see what's on the records, can't make out from the posted pic

There's a YouTube link in the Waldbühne-thread in the Tell Me-forum that has surprisingly good audio of Satisfaction and I'm Allright from the Waldbühne-show. I wonder if the whole show is available in this good audio quality. Seems to be the same recording as on Ready Steady Stones VGP-248 but much better quality and in stereo, whereas VGP is plain mono.

3 years ago I bought a 10 CD Box in Italy. This Box includet also the concert from Berliner Waldbühne 65. The quality is really not good but it`s a "historic document"
