Would love to have it too as well....How can streaming media be captured? How does that work?

Maybe like this?

This one was rumored to be better than the PPV imo it's not. It's a good show
but the fabulous PPV gig still owns the crowd...

A few different types of software...I like Soundforge and a really nice sound card.

In the case of WV, their app is more stable and a constant 320 bit rate so I like to record off of that straight onto a D50 in .wav format. Then I retrack it in Soundforge. Unlike YouTube you cannot even tell its MP3...

But now the question is -where can I find the streaming url?

Go to the WV website and become a member of the "concert vault"...
1000s of great shows...not just Stones.

Once you're a member I recommend the WV app...

Sign in, search Rolling Stones or even Rolling Stones Uncut in the concert vault. It should all be there for you...or again, try the app and scroll through the band names on the right side panel...

Aha, I think we misunderstand. What I need is the url in order to grab the streaming with a program like VLC. I can listen to all shows, but I want to record them and store them.

I am actually a little bemused that everybody here seems to be interested in audience recordings of the new shows, and hardly interested in these fabulous soundboard recordings of the days that they where still fantastic!

Well the Chicago 81 nights (all three of them) are (imho) very very poor in terms of energy and musicianship. Hampton II is a lot better, though not among the top-10 shows.
Miami'94 is obviously a non-event.

So all this might explain what you accurately described above... grinning smiley

Mathijs

What makes you conclude with that? "Hardly interested" ?

Obviously, since these WV streams are not allowed at IORR, there's not much point of saying "thanks" here.....hence the few comments. I've thanked the sharers elsewhere on the web.

The 2nd Hampton show is very good, but as dcba says....it's not as good as the 1st show.....but that's not saying much; hard to compeat with the dec 18th performance

They are not allowed here on IORR? Why's that? I didn't know that, I thought it was a lack of interest....

I agree though on the performance of Hampton II -it's a good show, but sure not on par with the first show.

Because they are 'official', the rights are owned by Wolfgang's Vault.

Unless you've got a team of lawyers to say otherwise smiling smiley

I am now listening the New Jersey, November 5 1981, and it actually is a great show! You need to adjust the sound though, a classic V is really what it needs to bring it alive. Great show! An alive and kicking band jamming on a stage!

Those where the days...

Question for you guys, after listening and enjoying the Hampton show, is it possible that Hampton runs a tiny bit too slow? Or are my ears fooling me?

Couldn't agree more Mathijs. For me, the Meadowlands shows are the best of the tour alongside the Tempe Dec 13th show.

It is running slow, about a full semitone.
