Filefactory currently have an offer on for 39 USD for a year. Why don't you buy the premium account and support the Stones Vault?
Let me tell you that ff downloadmanager if you don't want to get a premium account is quite useful and free of any BS, and it work fine, I have used it numerous time in the past with no troubles.
For Filefactory , I have experienced a trouble that I'm not able to solve.
I've got a 3 month premium account and each time , I've tried to download several shows, most of the files were corrupted at the end.
I've tried I know it's dumb , to download several time the corrupted files and I failed once again.
I have used Firefox, Chrome and Ie, no way.
Should I blame Filefactory , probably because it's the only server who corrupt my files, you need to know that I got a very high speed connectivity, and I'm pretty sure that Filefactory is not able to do something good with people who use very high speed, maybe they will sooner or later , but they need to do an update.
So I'd give up with them.
And last but not least , SMF and SB do their best to upload for free what has never been released before , upload most of the stuff that we all want and need,
if they have choosed FF, it's their choice, I can't imagine them upload all the stuff on some other server to please some of us.

It looks like with Internet Explorer 9, you don't get a box to untick.
I have tried it as a free user with IE10, Firefox and Chrome and I always get the box to untick.
If you have a premium account, I recommend Firefox with the Downthemall addon. Never any corrupted downloads and you can resume them later on.
That's clear (to me at least) Greg...but it's your browser that's the thing giving you the problem, not Filefactory....if you download Google Chrome or Firefox or IE 10 (and maybe keep it on your desktop as a second browser - as I've done) you'll find that in fact Filefactory do give you the choice, to use their Download manager or not.........

It's just that asking for a solution looks much better than "yelling" that FF su..
We're not all IT specialists, but problems as yours are usually the result of a corrupt or not properly installed browser (be it IE, Mozilla, Chrome or whatever).
We're so used to click the button that we're totally lost if something goes wrong.

What were your problems with Chrome? I've got Windows XP and IE8 too but found installing Chrome pretty straight forward............in fact dead simple with no problems.........

With respect to all, I have a FF premium account. I purchased it solely because of the Stone's downloads. I am perfectly happy with it and absolutely grateful to the uploaders. Every cent I spent is worth it to be able to enjoy & experience the very reason I am a member of IORR - The Rolling Stones.

That's clear (to me at least) Greg...but it's your browser that's the thing giving you the problem, not Filefactory....if you download Google Chrome or Firefox or IE 10 (and maybe keep it on your desktop as a second browser - as I've done) you'll find that in fact Filefactory do give you the choice, to use their Download manager or not.........

Since I had big problems with Chrome once, I still did not try it again.
Well... until I'll be simply dying for downloading something from FileFactory I postpone installing Chrome again even for usung only for FF.

Does anybody have the same problems that he/she couldn' t download from the FF website? I got since yesterday an error message. Don' t know why but before everything went alright.
The counterclock of 60 seconds runs normally down and when I click on 'Download' my Firefox browser couldn' t access the FF website.
BTW I also see the tickbox and can uncheck it.

It seems it's just a problem with IE8 then and you can't upgrade to IE9 with XP either.
So it looks like it's Chrome or Firefox for XP users, until they fix it.
