Okay my friends, as promised above (not only once, I know...) I will start to work on this tomorrow in the evening. Hope it will be ready for you on Sunday. But to be sure whether it is really worth uploading this amount here my final question: Are you still interested in it or is the Full HD version already available for everybody somewhere else?

Diego

Hi Diego, I'd still be gla if this versions becomes available as a (non torrent) download! Thx!

For those interested about video/audio technical infos of the 44 GB from the russian tracker (and keep in mind the audio synchronisation problem and the cut in brown sugar as Falo already pointed out) :

Format : MPEG-TS
File size : 44.7 GiB
Duration : 2h 35mn
Overall bit rate mode : Variable
Overall bit rate : 41.1 Mbps
Video
ID : 4113 (0x1011)
Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
Format : MPEG Video
Format version : Version 2
Format profile : 4:2:2@High
Format settings, BVOP : Yes
Format settings, Matrix : Default
Codec ID : 2
Duration : 2h 35mn
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 38.7 Mbps
Maximum bit rate : 40.7 Mbps
Width : 1 920 pixels
Height : 1 080 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Frame rate : 29.970 fps
Color space : YUV
Chroma subsampling : 4:2:2
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Interlaced
Scan order : Top Field First
Compression mode : Lossy
Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.623
Stream size : 42.0 GiB (94%)
Audio
ID : 4353 (0x1101)
Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
Format : MPEG Audio
Format version : Version 1
Format profile : Layer 2
Mode : Dual mono
Codec ID : 4
Duration : 2h 35mn
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 384 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Compression mode : Lossy
Delay relative to video : 3ms
Stream size : 427 MiB (1%)

I DL this version and watched it twice, but what bother me is :

Why the sound from a HD feed is so poor (2 channels lossy/dual mono) compared to the video that is absolutely awesome?

Falo any explanation about the audio?

HB

UPDATE (01/31 9:44 PM): As every program I tried failed to rip the m2ts-file from the Blu-Ray to my HDD I started the procedure of "demuxing" / "imuxing" a few minutes ago. Afterwards I've got to use another tool to "mux" the result and consequently create a mkv-file.

At the same time I'm trying to convert the m2ts into an avi-file with SUPER. Problems so far: It is stuck in the "Initiate Process" for hour (absolutely no progress so I don't know whether there will be any result) and the video bitrate will be downscaled from 18.000 kbps to about 9.800 kbps. Audio should not be influenced using the WAV (pcm 16 little-endian) codec. However, this would only be an emergency solution.

Are there any other suggestions? Would like to hear whether there could still be a possibility to rip the m2ts-file. What I've already - unsuccessfully - tried is AnyDVD-HD, AVS Video Converter, DVD-Fab, DVD-Shrink and DVD-Decrypter. All of them told me that they could not open the file except AnyDVD-HD (but my trial-version-time is already over) and AVS (but this would add an ugly water mark to the video).

Best but ill and tired regards!

UPDATE (01/31 11:20 PM): "Imuxing" and "Muxing" successfully accomplished! I used tsMuxe and mkvmerge for doing this - I guess many of you are interested in this concerning the lineage. Result of my procedure: A 21 GB mkv-file that can be watched using VLC etc.

Next step will be to split the file into smaller ones using WinRar. For sure I could upload it to my cloud on HiDrive as a whole but I'm too frightened of a sudden computer shutdown during the upload tomorrow. Probably about 10 or 11 parts of 2 GB each.

More updates tomorrow in the morning (you see I live in Europe). Good night!

explanation may be that they didnt care for the audio that much. they even had a cut in the video, so the whole thing wasn`t perfectly captured.
I have 5.1 audio, seperate channels, and work on improving the audio.
they broadcasted so much bullshit in some channels, like one yelling guy during miss you.
don`t worry, we will have good audio !

UPDATE (02/01 8:20 PM): Unfortunately the whole day was a single problem... I failed to upload the first WinRar-file twice - and I always got the message a few seconds before the upload would have been completed. Absolutely annoying... Now I splitted the big mkv-file again but this time in single ones of only 1 GB. Really hope that it helps and I'll promise to keep you up to date. 1st file is running now.

UPDATE (02/02 8:15 PM): Again a very disappointing day... I did my utmost to upload the first files on my HiDrive STRATO Cloud - without any success. Consequently I'm trying to terminate my contract right now. But concerning the Blu-Ray I can say that the first file is already on WeTransfer and the next ones are currently coming. Every file contains about 700 MB so there will be 31 files as a whole. Later today there will be a seperate thread with all the links posted step by step so you can start downloading tomorrow. I hope the whole show will be available very soon next week. Sorry that the announced date could not be kept...

Edit: ...it could be kept grinning smiley further information --> [www.iorr.org]
