Remix ? You can remix a multi-track tape, but you can't remix an audience tape, all you can do from an audience recording is a different EQing.

of course thats what dcba wanted to say.
but in this case it doesnt help a lot to EQ,
you can`t get rid of distortion.

oh falo but you're mistaken.
I got rid of the distortion completely by turning off this subpar recording...of course you lose a lot of the music this way too, but....

ha ha munichhilton, good one.
I listened to the rarities once and then good bye,
back to the archives.
it`s nice to have it, but not a frequent show to listen to.

I've got it and scanned thru it, will listen completely tonight but if you'll put yourself if a "70s" frame of mind (before we all got spoiled with the quality of most aud tapes) its very enjoyable. I did listen to Route 66 all the way through and its a thrill..really rocks!

Nice for the archive. Overloaded sound, and absolutely one of the worst shows in their carreer. It's all soooooo slooooooow......

Thx to technology, we can take care of this too! Run each FLAC through Audacity and increase the speed of the music by 10% : voila "back to 1972"! >grinning smiley<

Do you think you could make "your" version available for us? Would be great!

Just got it (thx Ned!) and it's a pretty decent show. "Whip" is imo pretty good and all in all for a bunch of guys who haven't played in 5 years "le" gig's okay.

Yeah there's a slowness to the whole thing but I think it's Keith's fault...

Much better than I would have expected, sounds more intresting than the 5 other shows and not as slow as some of you say. Jumping Jack Flash sounds way better than in the youtube clip uploaded on the official channel.

Route 66 is also great, reminds me of the El Macombo 1977 version:

Hey! It's an old war between Mick & Keith (since 1989 and maybe'69), Mick want it to be faster & popular, Keith want it slower & deeper... One of the best exemple is the fast speed 1989 version of Gimme Shelter, soon corrected by Keith & the Winos (and reintroducing a real female voice solo) in 1992. After that the Stones play a much slower (& Deeper) version (my best version is still Paradiso'95. At the 12-12-12 show, Jumpin' Jack Flash was slower & deeper; the One More Shot pay-per-vier give us a much faster version. I think that Trabendo was a Keith show, and it's great for me, but the pay-per-view viewer need a Mick show. Chuck Leavell his doing a good joob by keeping it together.

ONE luv!

PS... Thanks again to everybody for this show, can we now have the original recording and the Modagor show (just to see at what speed the stones play the rich people =Op

sample of the raw tape:
midnight rambler

Thank you very much for the sample. Great to hear that the recording is quite good after all, though being muddy and a little overdriven. A bit of equalization does a huge improvement to the sample.

Let's hope the pro Studio the taper gave it to did a good job.

Is there any chance of getting the complete raw recording now after the boot is out?

Yeah, I just wait a few days, after the boot is spread... That was part of the deal to get the tape.

It's been a few days now ;-)

BTW I reupped your MR samples on WT : [we.tl]

Listening to this one now. It's better than I thought it would be, from what I read before downloading. Very listenable actually! Also, I wasn't aware that they had played "When The Whip Comes Down". It's one of my absolute favorite stones numbers and it's a shame that it wasn't played at (at least) one of the official shows last year.
