I downloaded/checked the following Stonesvault ff link for the following recording: 'MT 1987.07.03 Lone Star Cafe NYC 2nd show flac.rar [www.filefactory.com] 367.90 MB lossless'

This appears to be the same recording as the recording posted in the Stonesvault for the 1987.07.03 first show. So it appears the correct source for the second show is currently missing in the Stonesvault.

Another confirmation that there is a show labeled 1987.07.03 2nd out there that is actually the 1st show, and that the 2nd show should have a Jon Paris guest appearance. gimmemt.com

looking for this one, I did find

Mick Taylor
July 3, 1987 both shows partial
The LoneStar Cafe aud ex

The original tapes are the source of this upload.
Recorded with a SONY WM-D3>Maxell XLII-S90's>upped to HD/tracked-out with Adobe Audition 1.2>original size 1.12 GB>Flac level 8> 737 MB.

Tracklist 1st show:
101. tuning
102. Giddy Up
103. Hot Water Music
104. Blues In The Morning
105. Going South
Soliloquy -------------->missing
106. CYHMK/house outro

Tracklist 2nd show:
201. Intro
202.Tusks
203. Giddy Up
204. Baby What You Want Me To Do
205. new tune from Wayne Hammond
206. Going South
207. Blues In The Morning
208. Baby What You Want Me To Do
Shake Your Moneymaker----->missing
CYHMK--------------------->missing

Line-up:
Mick Taylor - guitar/vocals
Max Middleton - keyboards
Wayne Hammond - bass/vocals
Mike Cullen - drums
It's not clear to me who the other guests are.

Sorry about the missing songs.
There were at least 2 recordings made of these shows. I don't know how much circulation this version got, if any.
Note: Both SONY WM-D3 recorders that I've owned recorded with a slightly slow tape speed which results in a higher-than-natural pitch when played-back on a correctly-speeded player. Since I don't know the EXACT correction ratio it was left "as is": no audio fixing of any kind was used.

At the moment it is lunchtime in the Netherlands.
I will continue further surch afer lunch.

Thanks for checking this Jaap. The source listed above is new to me. Is it currently available in the vault?

PS enjoy your lunch.

Update; I should look before I ask. I see it's available/uploaded as mp3/lossy sourced flac in the vault.

According to my earlier comparison this is actually again the audio from the first show.

Here is some partial info from a recent review of these shows:

===
(Side notes -- one of the versions of this show has three versions of BITM joined as one track. I have reviewed the first one as it seems most likely for several reasons to be the one from this particular show. Also, there is a recording supposedly of the 2nd show this evening, but in reviewing it I have discovered it is the same as this 1st show recording, except for one unknown song after BITM, which I am calling 'Think About It" based on a few of the lyrics I can discern. It is sung by Wayne Hammond, the bassist, and is likely his composition or the cover of an obscure modern soul tune.)

Possibly: Think About It

Sung by Wayne Hammond, and featuring a long 2:45 solo by MT which is an interesting one-off unto itself. It sounds highly improvised and not pre-composed or based on specific ideas.

After some research I found out that Shake Your Moneymaker and CYHMK were not played at the July 3, 1987 2nd show. Circulating recordings that include these tracks use audio taken from other shows (SYMM from 21.02.90 2nd and CYHMK from 87.07.06 Barnegat). Thanks to NZB for helping me with this research.
