Just add only a simple 'c' to the end of the fla-file ynd you' ll have flac. Playable with every player you prefer.
Don' t know how Eddie manage to create these fla-files instead of flac but as it is simple to convert them, it doesn' t matter at all.

I think these "fla" files are created by Nero (I have read "Eddie" uses it), anyway I haven't download these cds.

Do you know which version he uses, Kike? I have Nero 10 and will check the way then.
Maybe it' s a little error and then he can create fine flac-files.

If I'm not wrong he uses Nero 6 ultra.
I think it's not an error, it's the way Nero managed the files, it's like a trademark of Nero, don't take this literally but catch the meaning, please.
I traded some years ago with a German collector who used to rip his silvers cds with Nero and the final files were "fla" too.
Anyway it could be that newer versions of Nero create flac instead of fla...
Please tell us your conclusions Jörg!

Just checked it with Nero 10 and this version creates flac-files. You can also choose wave, Ogg vorbis, mp3, AIFF and Nero AAC.
Nero 6 doesn' t run anymore on Windows 7 so I can' t check it for myself.

That's all right....I use Nero 6 Ultra on Windows XP, and more than that, when I load a CD to rip the audio, before I rip, Nero tells me they are Fla files...?? (even silver discs)...(or if Mp3 on the disc then Mp3 of course),
I did download and burn one of my own uploads and it was fine to play on Windows Media player and my stand alone Sony Cd player....
I can't convert to Flac before uploading because the only option I have is to convert to Fla/Flac, Nero 6 Ultra doesn't see a difference.
Unless anyone knows something I missed..........
