Though wonder If anyone can help me - I am having trouble with AIFF files my Roxio burner does not recognize these files so I can't burn them on to Cd.
Is there any way I can convert these to Flac after I have downloaded them?. any help appreciated.

Mmmmmh I don't know. When I send flac (Audacity making), everybody had problems with.
So I upload my originals apple .aiff. I hope you can found the way to listenning songs.

When I get AIFF files I use a free program "Audacity" to convert them to WAV for CD burning and then I use Trader's Little Helper (another free program) to convert the WAV files to FLAC16. Note-I use a Windows PC.

Open the AIFF file in Audacity then export the file as a WAV to a folder location of your choice. Burn your CD's from this folder. After CD burning, you can save them as FLAC16 files to conserve disk space (not required)

For those who have problems with the .aiff files, I extracted the files with 7 Zip, shortened the file names (01 track name, 02 track name,....), .flac with "Switch Sound File Converter"
(Foobar and Switch Soundfile Converter both gave only some 45 Mb for all the (.wav)files when first converted to .wav, so I decided to give it a try with direct converting AIFF to .Flac with Switch Soundfile Converter, and then I got some 300 Mb)

Seriously, I always try to help my Stones fan friends. But this aiff stuff isn't doing my reputation much good, LOL !!!)
I wish TR could find a way to post regular Flac files (as we al do when posting something).
But you just can't look a given horse in the mouth and I'm grateful for everything people post here, especially the not so easy to find recordings and the remasters (some better than the others).
I only hope that my efforts on these aiff files will not enrage some people because I made a mistake somewhere.

But if there's one thing you don't have to worry about; I have one of the most powerful anti-virus programs installed on my PC. I can't give any details, but it's the one used at NATO HQ in Brussels, and as I wrote somewhere before, I still get the updates.

So IF one of my files gives you a virus warning, it's either local on your machine, or the website used to transfer the files infected the file in some way.

And if this happens, please let me know and I'll find another way to send the"corrupted" or "infected" file.

Keep in mind that some virus scanners may consider certain combinations of letters and/or file formats as a threat. One of the most common examples are key generators (Not that we download those to install illegal software on out PCs!!! )
