Maybe anybody has them:

1) Chicago, Sept. 23, 1997 but of quality better than "Piece of Gold" alledged
soundboard but of muffled sound.
2) MSG, June 22, 1975 but released by Mid Valley Records MVR 460/461/462/463,
record is called "LUCIFER"

No recordings better than "Piece Of Gold". But more SBD tracks (compared to "Piece Of Gold" ) available on VGP releases.

There are 2 good/very good sources for this show....the Maloney source, and the "udder source" released by VGP as "Eric Clapton and his Rolling Stones". If I remember correctly (once had a copy), "Mid Valley" released both recordings, but downgraded the sound, with their EQing. "Sympathy For The Slowhand" (or the original Joe Maloney recording) is the source to go for.

Thanks Eric.
But there are recordings better than "Piece of Gold":
I have only one record called "Out of Control in Chicago" Pop 003 (perfect sound)
and "Rest of Gold" VGP-299 which has much better sound than "Piece of Gold" but unfortunately only 10 songs from the end of this concert.
So better material IS circulating.

Really? Then I am wrong, once again. I shouldn't be making any posts about the "after 1982" era, as I really don't care much for the later years. I have the "piece of gold"- but I don't think I've listened to it, since 1998.

Regarding your headline; it seems that you are ready to shell out for what you are looking for.
