POST: 18 July 1990, mix of two sources

18 July 1990 - Newcastle
« Newcastle’90 » &« Jungle Upon The Tyne »
This one is a mix from two sources :
- « Newcastle’90 » is better but containt some problems (2 songs incomplete and diginoises that ruined two tracks)
- « Jungle Upon The Tyne » is in lower quality
so I keep the biggest part of the « Newcastle’90» but I improve it (I mean I try) with the other.
- « Start Me Up » is cut in the two versions but not at the same part !!! so I use a 10 seconde from « Jungle » to make a complete song (from 1’50 to 2’).
- The end of « Rock And A Hard Place » and « Mixed Emotions was ruined by diginoises so I use the « Jungle » version
- Between HTW and Midnight Rambler 20 secondes was missing in particuliar the intro of « Midnight Rambler » so I patch it with « Jungle… »
- I cut the microgaps between the tracks and some « diginoises »
- I amplified at +1,5db
I put the covers for my original version (and the one my great friend Mr No create yearssss ago).
I respect the tracklist, more usual, from « Newcastle’90 » (because on my version the cd n°1 ended with « Happy »
So I spent a little time on this one I hope some will enjoy

A question;

any special reason why you jumped the following?

- 06/07/90 London
- 09/07/90 Glasgow

(they come from your initial 1990 post)

Yes two reasons
- first I got three different versions from this two shows and I want to compar them before to post the best one.
- second: from 13 february I will qo in winter holidays for two weeks so I like to upload some shows before to go.
but you can count on me, this shows are already on my desk
ciao
Norbert

Thanks for the upload Norbert. The artwork for Newcastle 1990 is mine - when I saw it I had a little laugh to myself - the primitive days. Perhaps the recording is mine also - I do remember copying my tapes onto CDR many moons ago and trading.

Interesting that you have 3 Glasgow - look forward to your work on this one. I also circulated this one [www.dbboots.com] thumbs up

So thanks for Newcastle!
About Glasgow: one got the same titles but with different artwork and tracklist ("Time Is On My side" at the end ! the others are "There'sv only Rock'n'roll In Glasgow" and "Who Gives A @#$%&"
The way of the boots are impenetrable!
