Hi,
"Otto" in Finnish actually means various things. Of course it is a common name ( a bit old-fashioned perhaps and it most certainly has a Germanish feel) but it stands for "the act of taking something" as well. For example a cash withdrawal is "otto" in Finnish. Finns love to get drunk
so therefore there are about 2011 gigazillion expressions for drinking. One of them is "ottaa"/ "to take" and the noun for "taking" alcohol would be then "otto".
