oops, I thought what a ridiculous comment because lots of people
are talking about their desired release of el mocambo right now,
without any info that it might really happen.

but than I saw that it is you, blakeeik, I suppose that there is a reason for you
to mention el mocambo !

El Mocambo is not that surprising, when comparing to the last release.

Unfortunately, I will be gone for the next 3 weeks. Remember, it is "just a rumor," but if I had to bet what was going to be the next release...

El Mocambo 77 is my first "bet" for the forthcoming release, but I wonder which source you have for being so sure that you make this thread, blakeeik? Well, you probably can't tell, I reckon.

well for some even hampton 81 is something special that one can call a "cracker". ok, if they deliver a new mix, it would really be interesting and would mean much work for me, lol.

If they ever release Hampton, I hope it will be the great Dec 19th performance!

However, I doubt Hampton 1981 (or Atlantic City 1989) will ever be a part of the "google-music" releases, as these shows would make much for sense for them to give to Eagle Vision, as a part of their contract with them

...but I'm sure a DVD release of Hampton would also mean a lot of work for you ;v)

El Mocambo, yes please. But with only six total releases that sure limits the possibilities. Why not more?

I agree 100% with Eric - Hampton makes more sense as a DVD, not as a "bootleg."

LA 75 is another one that makes sense to be a DVD. Oh no falo, not again!

LA75 is a far too bad concert, I would say.
I`m afraid they dont have any good 75 stuff in their vaults......

Yes LA 1975 is far too poor of a performance, and also:
it's far too poorly filmed to deserve an official release.
...then again, they might have more angles/cameras in their "vault version" than the one circulating on bootleg-DVD, just as the case was with Fort Worth 1978

Even though I'm a BIG fan of TOTA 1975, I really hope they won't release THAT concert, nor as audio nor DVD - as it's the worst performance of 1975

However, if they, theoretically, had ANOTHER 1975 concert available as video recording....what an incredible watch that would be

and concerning other tours, with fort worth 78 all gaps (video) are closed.
69-71 is still left (I don`t count gimme shelter as a concert movie), but I really
doubt they have any good stuff in their vaults from that era.

I doubt that too. I wouldn't be surprised if they only had Marquee Club 1971 available as video. And that show is the poorest show they ever did together in the Taylor era....apart from the Hyde Park show; but Hyde Park has a great edge anyway; and is of special historical interest.

There is pro-shot footage available from Paris 1970. But I wonder if that Paris TV crew filmed the entire show...and I have my doubts about the footage being "well enough filmed" for official release (in *their* eyes, that is).

Is there any chance that the Maysles 1969 MSG footage ever being released? If not is the 1970 Paris show the best we could hope for from that era?( especially being pro-shot).

I agree with you guys on the 1975 shows.....but if you really, really study the music- it was great! The vocals? Um....not so much.
Also agree on the 1994 tour....Why?? that would be a total waste.
I must also disagree on the 1989 comment, although that was my first time seeing them, so of course it's special to me.
But first we NEED Macambo and 1981 please!!!! Those 2 are tops on my list.
Then anything else will just be a welcomed bonus.
Anyone know when they are supposed to announce a release date or something??

lots of good questions & comments in there....

asked my self, it`s about time for a new release, 3 months are over now.
I don´t like 89/90 at all although it was my first tour too.
what may be interesting would be another Atlantic City show with JL Hooker,
like it happenend with the boot release of the 2nd MSG 2003 show.
In the end I would prefer some 70s tour show, no matter which tour,
if possible something that wasn´t available in good quality before.
1981 would be ok too but we already have some good stuff from there.....

Maybe they have the whole "on fire" performance of july 09 (cf SFD on Love You LIve album) ....
