1972.07.04 Washington 1972 (rare alternate source)

I downloaded this recently from Hungercity.

original uploader wrote
Rolling Stones
Washington 1972
audience recording at the Robert F. Kennedy Stadium, Washigton, DC
1972, July 4th
incomplete show (first 4 songs are missing)

This one is an alternate recording as the one upped by Erik Snow last week.
You can find his torrent [VGP111] here

I recieved this one in a trade and it was called 'rare pressbox recording'. As it is a transfer from a Steve Kinney audio tape
I think we can believe that this was really recorded in a 'pressbox'. It sounds a bit distant and I would rate is as 6/10.
Anyway, the better source is the VGP but here you get the rare alternate to it.

Lineage:

unknown transfer from SK audio tape - CDR - Trade - EAC (wave - flac) - Traders little helper - Hungercity

Tracklist:

01 - Happy
02 - Tumbling dice
03 - Love in vain
04 - Sweet Virginia
05 - You can' t always get what you want
06 - All down the line
07 - Midnight rambler
08 - Bye Bye Johnny
09 - Rip this joint
10 - Jumping Jack flash
11 - Street fighting man

God bless the late great Steve Kinney. One of the most generous and gentle souls I ever knew.
