Unfortunately my harddrive crashed some weeks ago and now almost all recordings are gone.
Does anyone have the Düsseldorf 2007 Matrix in FLAC and could upload it?

How many shows you lost?thank god,,,all my stuff is on cd or cdr.

I had many different sources of various shows There are still a lot of shows on cd or cdr but almost all sources and downloads that became available from 2007 on are lost.I saved them all on an external harddrive because a lot of my cdrs from the mid 90s became unplayable...I read somewhere that they only live for about 15 years.

oh,i´ve read the same thing,,,so thats why i use audio use only cdr´s,i trasfer all compurter cdr´s onto audio ones.

It's also very important that you store your CDRs in a dark place. Light is poison to them!

I'm not sure if Jewel Cases protect enough from light. I don't put my CDRs in jewel cases (I also don't have the space for it!). I put them in thin flexible plastic sleeves which I put in covered cardboard boxes. So it's absolutely dark in there and it doesn't use too much space. I never had problems with unplayable discs so far.

Have you tried taking the harddrive & putting it into an external harddrive case, they're all pretty standard.

If you've got a spare external hanging around, open it up, usually only a couple of screws, undo the screws on either side, usually four, gently manipulate it so it slides out of the case, then gently prise the 2 plugs off the harddrive, & put it aside. Next take your dead harddrive & slide the 2 plugs into place firmly, don't bother screwing anything into place, just put it close to a computor that works, laptop will do, & plug it in exactly like a regular external.

You may be able to access the files on the external. My computor crashed last week, virus, I was trying to find 'True Blood' for my wife, & I was able to recover all of my files this way. If you were using IE then you can find the 'favourites' folder in there as well.

I can send you collected mp3=dvd's if you like, than you're back in business, but don't ask me precise which shows are on them, but the ABB tour is nearly complete on these dvd's

Yes I still need that matrix. Is it possible that you post it? I also lost the Prague 98 and the Imst 99 matrix Versions. Is it possible that you also post them?
