Somebody posted this DAC here very recently:
Apparrently it's a low bit-rate, but it's in Flac. I compared it to the torrent & DAC HAVE (for once) slightly improved it imo. They've increased the highs, so it's less dull & muddy (which is ironic- as DAC usually do the opposite! LOL). Of course, by doing that they've added some minor hiss, but it does sound better imo :-)

yes, generally I find DAC more hissy, sometimes distorted. Ok I'll grab it and compare. Thanks.

Me also thinks DAC did some nice work on this, compared to the original torrent.
Much clearer and brighter, albeit hissy
Maybe it could've been done better? Would be interesting to hear some work (of the original torrent) made by a DIME or IORR member....instead of laying it all in the bootleger's hands to get Helsinki 1970 sound right.

Hi Erik: Well- I can certainly give that a try. I re-equalized 'Seattle '75', as it was SO bassey & it worked-out very, very well. The problem is- I have absolutely no idea how to upload things.
Maybe I could send it to you, via snail-mail if it's a success (?)

Yes, please, MrsHop - that would've been excellent - and if it sounds good, I'd be happy torrent it on Dime.....I'm sure Urban Steel could post it here afterwards.....look forward to give it a listen, it's one of my favourite RS shows.
Silly for us to always be waiting for the next "DAC-remix" of great audience captures...! See you!

Yep .

Great, Urban Steel...!

All we need now is "JEMS" blessing.....which we might not get. If he/they disagree...I can't torrent it....we'll see.
