Got this one offered too. Although it's only old stuff I ordered it. Just because I'm curious.

PS. Soundboard partly yes, but not all of course.

They made horrible choices about which bootleg-copies to include in this box...."An American Affair"...."A Few Hearts Broken"....."Vancouver First Night"...."Welcome To New Tork (TMOQ)" - all of these are FAR from being the best sources available
Hope there's not too many who have spent money on this product

You didn't expect something decent from the WLR label, did you?

I made a mistake with CD 3+4, it's not "A Few Strings Busted"..., see above!

Obviously they take the first and the last show of the tour - which other (better) sources are available? Thanks.

"The Royal Dragon" has the same catalogue number as "An American Affair".
Was released a few years after. Better quality

Ah, okay. But it seems (for me), CD 9 of this wlr-box is a copy of VGP 083 The Royal Dragon. I cannot hear a difference. Have you checked it too?

I have written "An American Affair" because the bonus track from "The Royal Dragon" is not there. Maybe it's "The Royal Dragon" without the bonus track.

I always have mixed feelings about these WLR Boxsets. On one hand: I'd have KILLED to find this kind of release at eg: a record fair when I first started collecting boots, as they DO contain a Hell of alot of classic Stones recordings in a single package. I'm sure the older collectors here would agree with that- I mean it's fine for us to be saying: "Oh- this is a copy of VGP..." etc, but we have the benefit of years of collecting behind us & let's not forget that younger collectors (yes- they ARE out there- not everyone likes making their own copies) might find these MUCH easier to find, than all those old pressings :-).
On the DOWN side: WLR don't even appear capable of even copying cds properly! & unfortunately, this set is probably the worst one so far when it comes to sloppiness. I was sent this box (as with the others) as a kind of 'promo' from another outlet & there are some APPALLING errors on it!. The Mobile Alabama disc sounds like it's been copied from a cdr that's disintegrated- leaving all kinds of nasty noises & jumps, especially near to the beginning & the first Fort Worth disc is the same. It's not my cd-player that's at fault, as the tracks were the same when I played them on my pc. I'm 99% sure they'll all be the same.
These sets are just a VERY mixed bag, but I'd certainly advise anyone to steer clear of this one.
