Why is this considered to be a really hot show? Rolling Stone magazine more or less trashed it. Anybody who was there?

I have the bootleg. I haven't listened to it very much, but I remember it being a very rocking performance.

For a long time, I didn't like the '75/'76 shows. After the '72/'73 tours, they just seemed sloppy and seemed not to care. I have a different appreciation for the '75/'76 tours now (especially '75). The best '75 shows rock as hard any Stones show ever did in my opinion.

I've listened a lot to both the VGP and DAC cds, and it's a fantastic show - among the golden 12 of 1975 - their best tour yet

I listened to that show in its entirety last night and it's one of the best '75 shows! No 'red lights' where the show stops completely and the groove fades. They really were cooking, musically.
