The stereo edit version from 4;53 is also stereo on The Singles Collection The London Years on the London Label 820-907-2 in the 12" box , inlay says 5;11 but my PC/dvd/cd player says 4;53 .
And yes , it is stereo
And now I listen to that cd 3 , Memo From Turner is also stereo .

The US ABKCO 1218-2 "Singles Collection - The London Years" 3-CD from 1989 has the stereo version - I´m listening right now!
(It played 4.50...)
Then both versions in the 12" box have the true stereo version .

The only official CD mono release of Honky Tonk Women (that I know of) is on the same 1989 3-CD box; although the cowbell intro is in "stereo", i.e. slightly to one channel.
Maybe this should be a new tread?

To go back to the original thread, listening again to YCAGWYW from the '89 release, it seems to start in mono and then at thirty seconds in it suddenly spreads out into stereo!
Anybody else notice this?
Curiouser and curiouser....
Yep and the sounds has a little bit more power also .
