Theres one who is dead but he had absolutely NOTHING to do with the production of TSP, he was an employed salesman, he was responsible for he distribution and nothing else.

Apart from that, the "great luxemburg/german brand" TSP stopped their operation COMPLETELY in the mid-nineties of the last century when international copyright laws changed and their business became illegal.

To claim that TSP (the great luxemburg/german brand) "now only relases LP's" is TOTAL BULLSHIT. None of the stuff listed above has anything to do with the original label.

Youre pretty ignorant. Covers and vinyl may be fine, but theres no original material, just a rehash of old boots and torrent-originated stuff using the brand name TSP to fool collectors.

Of course, if you want to be fooled its your own choice.

I think you've lost sight of the whole bootleg scene. It's always been about various people getting ahold of a certain recording source and producing it as they see fit.

So these particular people have chosen to resurrect the old TSP name; it's no capitol crime.

If you're not interested, then don't buy them. But please don't call others ignorant because they don't agree with your particular viewpoints.

And as for Gilles, he is indeed reputable and honest.

If you read the book "Bootleg: The Rise And Fall Of The Secret Recording Industry" you'll find that labels are used by several different people.
And it's a friggin bootleg, what's the problem? Most of it is shite anyways.

At least vinyl boots have great covers you can look at. I wouldn't play them more than once though (just to make a clone)

Its possible that Ive lost sight with the bootleg scene after three decades (!!!) of collecting, but what the hell does it have anything to do with the fact that people like these fake TSP vinyl producers hide themselves under the TSP banner and exploit the good TSP reputation to sell their stuff - obviously recycled shit otherwise - under a different flag - nobody or at least a much lesser number of people would be interested in?

Not only that: Oh so reputable and honest people like Gilles come here and claim that the original TSP people are behind these fakes when everybody whos still "in sight with the bootleg scene" (and as a dealer you should be!) should know and no doubt knows that this is not the case!!! He changed his original advertising text but its still misleading.

Theres more to that: The copyright laws changed in the mid-nineties and from then on a former legal business became illegal. By claiming that these new fake TSP vinyls are produced by the original TSP people, one does effectively claim that by carrying on, these original TSP people are behind a now illegal business.

Absolutely wrong. I personally know who was behind the original TSP business. He was a huge Stones and Beatles fan. Bootlegs labels are not necessary in for the money. Get over it.
