Would like to know if you can indicate me a better audio of the one I have, The Lost Millard Tapes VGP-340.
If you know this boot, it's very good until You gotta move but following tracks are audience and bad quality.
I read there's a Pignose 10 CD set with quality improved but never listen to it.

Do you know any title to recommend me?

Anybody has the Pignose 10CD box and can tell me how is the quality of the 10 and 12 shows?

Millard taped only the 1st half of the July 12 show (until "Happy" ). The rest comes from a different & worse tape. There's no better recording circulating and therefore also Pignose can't have a better one. I don't know the Pignose release though, I don't buy CDRs. Same for the July 10 show. Only a bad recording exists of the complete show. The best version is here: [www.dimeadozen.org]

thanks midnramb. , yes I have the 75 nervous breakdown; ok, so no need to look for alternates.

regarding the Los Angeles 75 recordings, I have listened to several titles and consider the following as the best ones:


July 9: Whores, Cocaine & a bottle of Jack
July 10: 1975 nervous breakdown (VGP) + Complete LA Friday
July 11: LA connection (VGP) , although some tracks are better quality in Whores cocaine (ex: Tumbling dice, YCAGWYW, IORR).
July 12: Lost Millard masters (VGP)
July 13: The Complete LA Friday (Dandelion)


With regard to the July 10, the boxset The Complete LA Friday Tapes (dandelion) contains 5 tracks in excellent quality: YCAGWYW-BS-Angie-Heartbreaker- Fingerp.file

If you have some titles to recommend me better than the above list, please tell me.

i have about 40mins of LA 12th show,in some kind of sbd recording.Well it sounds more like a monitor rip.

Marko, I think it's the Millard Tapes, which is excellent until Happy.

I think you are right. I have cdr copies of the cassettes that were used for the
"Whores,Cocaine....." box set a few years back. Thats approx where Millards tape messed up on the 12th.

In the meantime I received confirmation from a friend of mine that the Pignose set includes the LA 12th (the second set, after Happy) in stereo audio quality rated 7 in a range 1-10.

I'm trying to investigate about the other boxset: SIX NIGHTS AT THE GARDEN featuring the 6 shows at the MSG 1975, unfortunately with SFTD from the 26th show still missing.
I'll keep you informed.

MoM, the Pignose set is still not circulating on the web.

These lines of Straycat58 make me salivate ! i just listened one time to this Brown Sugar version and it's a killer ! I remember Keith's sound and chords are unbelievable !

Is the complete one the same source as the one VGP used to complete the Millard recording? Your source 3 looks interesting. Could you upload it?

I´ve uploaded it,but a long time ago.
Nice compilation from july 10th and 12th,in best possible quality.
Close to LA friday.
