Hello all, I am putting together a "live" disc of all songs played durin g the 75-76 tours+ El Mocambo. I would like your opinions as to the best versions of certain songs with regards to sound quality and performance.
I will be using all of Love You Live (unless someone has a better quality version of a song).
Please give me your opinions for the best version of the following songs. For your troubles, I will post my final work minus the officially released stuff:
All Down The Line Cherry Oh Baby Hand of Fate Luxury Midnight Rambler Wild Horses Hey Negrita Fool To Cry Heartbreaker Ain't To Proud To Beg Rip This Joint Angie Gimmie Shelter
Cherry Oh Baby Hand of Fate Midnight Rambler Hey Negrita Fool To Cry Ain't To Proud To Beg
The best version of Luxury is from Toronto on the 7" EP "Little S&M". But obviously nobody has it, I've already asked for it, but got never a response...
I agree with mr Midnrambler about June 7th being one of the best recordings/performances of 1976 - but disagree with the inclusion of the songs Midnight Rambler, Ain't Too Proud To Beg and Cherry Oh Baby The definitive Cherry Oh Baby comes from the last MSG show of 1975.....the other 2 - they were also surperior on several TOTA shows
