I am planning to replace the brillian Keith picture on the IORR front page soon. Suggestions for a new main page picture? I have plenty, but if you give me the right reason or the right picture I will put a new one up there accordingly. Thanks!

PS. In general, I want to rotate several pictures over time.

I think of a picture of Mick Jagger with an acoustic guitar in the left hand, just talking with a member of the chieftains. Just Mick with his so beautifull smile and his guitar.

a vintage black and white shot, from the early 60's
would make a nice change, from the modern day era photos, used of late.
...Brian era.

It's important to remember "our" bands roots, it's beginnings,
playing clubs and pubs in the 'Thames Delta'.

Why not a set of moving images taking us through the career of the band to date. Perhaps one for each year.

Agree,and if it´s not possible a collage of different pictures.
A mixture of this kind could easily changed by day or week.

I would suggest some kind of a significant IORR logo as well if you want to redesign the mainpage.This logo could occur minimized on the subpages.

What about changing the main pic each month to highlight some part of Rolling Stones history?
The birthday months are easy choices. I'm sure there are plenty of moments in history to choose from.

Maybe BV should at a mirror in the middle so we all could see how......

I think a Brian era pic(or even a MT group shot) would be a nice change for a little while to remind people of their long and rich history.

I like the idea of having picture from photo session from album covers, so we get picture thats almost like the covers but still unlike without the bands name and tittel on it. Like Marvpick and Richard from Canada suggest, but not the identical picture, got it ?

What about the pic from Britney's shirt?

Hey BV, don't know if it's a lot of work for you but you could do a Google and celebrate key events with photos i.e. Altamont anniversary with a pic from that show or Keith's birthday with a shepherd's pie. It would keep everyone on their toes.

Why not have equally brilliant pictures of all band members (inc Brian, Mick T and Bill) timed so that they rotate every 30 seconds or so?

is there a photo of Charlie playing his green sparkle Gretsch kit? that would be cool

The misty look to those photos is from Gered Mankowitz smearing vasoline on his lens before shooting the pics!
