I started about the same time as him and I reckon that I must have attended about 1500 gigs. I have most of the ticket stubs too! First gig was The Beach Boys at the Royal Festival Hall in 72 followed swiftly by Hawkwind in Torquay 72, Focus at Sundown Edmonton Jan 73 and then Floyd at Earl's Ct, Stones at Wembley and The Who at Sundown Edmonton all in 73. If you live in London, as I did, there is something happening every night. And during the 70s, especially through punk, you couldn't afford to miss anything.

He mentions seeing AC/DC in The Nashville Rooms in Fulham , well not wishing to split hairs but when I lived in London it was known as West Kensington the tube station was virtually next door.

I have attended an average of 10 shows a year since 1975, so I've been to nearly 300 shows. I thought I was a gigaholic.
