Not a big Beatles fan but if my failing memory serves me, weren't the numbers stamped in black ink? Or was that only on US copies?

I thought the first 50 copies went to Beatles family and friends.
The seller makes no reference as to who previously owned this copy, I would have thought a letter of authenticity would be a must here as clearly it is a very important issue and worthy of going to Sothebys or somewhere to get the maximum value, but not ebay surely.........??.
I wouldn't buy a packet of peanuts off ebay.

Actually is you scroll down it does say how he got the disc. Was at Lennon's house and he gave it to him. The first four were reserved for The Beatles. And no the original printing was a stamp of the number. Yeah, a letter of authenticity seems logical especially when you see how much it is going for!

This album is in beautiful condition. I am a bit of a numbers freak, some collectors are and some collectors aren't. I turned down the White Album No.7 for about $8,000 but it wasn't in anywhere near as beautiful condition. I am still looking for Love Is Strong, You Got Me Rocking, Wild Horses and Anybody Seen My Baby UK 7" number 1's. Please let me know if you have one or more and I am sure we can work out a trade. I have several top 10 numbers to trade for those of you into numbers.
