On disc 2 there is an interview (unedited it says) by Philippe Manaoeuvre
On disc 3 there is a documentary film called "vers l'olympe: être fan des Rolling Stones" (to the olymp: being a fan of the Rolling Stones) by Philippe Puicouyoul (94 min).

Are DVD 2 and 3 only French language or do they have English language

Since it is an exclusive french version, I guess no english subtiles on DVD 2 and 3.
I didn't try the subtitles option yet since I am french, but I'll check tonight and let you know.

I booked the 3DVD version on amazon but received a mail saying that I won't get it till mid-december !!!!

"Vers l'olympe" is interesting. I recognized many fans I saw around hotels, concert venues ... and some I have been trading with before the internet era.

Claude who have seen "vers l'olympe etre fan des Stones" at Beaubourg tell me that I'm on the DVD n°3 with him and Jean Marie (the guy who wrote the 4 books on the Stones tour 1973/1975/1976/1978) in front of the SDF.
I haven't got the DVD but I'm waiting for it to see that !!!

Disc 2 is an interview of Philippe Manoeuvre. In french
Disc 3 is "Vers l'Olympe", feat. french subtitles during the interviews of english-speaking Stones fans.

A non french-speaking person will probably not understand more than the interventions of english-speaking fans. Sorry.

BUT : I know that Philippe Puicouyoul was working on an english, or at least an english-subtitled version.
Check his myspace.
Anyway, I'll ask him and let you know ASAP.

I received my copy of the 3 disc limited edition set on Wednesday (I think it was officially released in Australia this week) and it is in English (obviously). Will play it over the weekend and let you know what is 'special' about it compared to the regular issue.

If I may make a general comment this is my first post. I have been a Stones fan for many years and a regular reader of this forum and I must thank you all for the always interesting and often very funny posts. Well done!

thank you kindly, hassle1 - could you also let us know whether the pitch/speed is correct on the Australian release?
and how many "multi-angle" numbers it includes? that would be very helpful.

ps: for extra-diligent collectors: the Polish version reached my town today,
and lo and behold: there's a three-disk version! the other two disks in it are the CD.
i find that touching. :E
