Goddamn, that's a great great song. A true hidden Gem. I should've known you would dig/know Mumble In My Ear, Rock. You never fail to pleasantly surprise me with the depth and breadth of your musical knowledge.

we're in the midst of a mini soul/funk revival these daze. sharon jones (the whole daptone label, for that matter) kinda leading the pack, but there are many others vying for attention in this space, too. long overdue....

al green's latest is a masterpiece, by the way....can't get enuff of it....

I posted a link to this song not too long ago in the "what are you listening to " thread. It was right after I first heard it at a party where someone put on a record that it was on. It was turned up really loud and it just blew me away. Its called "There Is" by the Dells from 1968.
