Keith is presently, and has been for at least a week, been working in a studio in New York!
Blondie Chaplin's been spotted in his company.
I don't know yet what this means, but I'm hoping to find out what those cats are up to, and with whom.

(what would be the outcome if Mick and Dave Stewart were working on demos in one studio
and Keith and Blondie in another and the output of both sessions were brought together
for the entire band to play with?)

If so, I wish bv would make an end to these kind of personal posts on a public board.
There is a lot of uninteresting posts and threads around here lately, and it takes forever
to find shreds of newsworthy information amongst the debris. It would really be a disgrace
for this wonderful site if fake messages like these occur.

First of all: I've promised not to reveal the source.
Second: This is not a private message for anyone. I don't know Keefriffhard, or at least, I don't know that person's identity.
Third: I don't deliver "private jokes".
I just thought people here would like to know that they're in the studio, and have been for over a week.
I know for sure that at least one other poster here on iorr has access to the same information as I do. The person must decide wether to confirm this or not.

I'll find out more shortly.

Over the past weeks Keeffriffhard has posted several messages on some backing musicians, how useless they seem to be in his eyes.
Addicted's message shows how important Blondie is to the Stones, to Keith in particular. Nothing personal, no bad feelings towards Keeffriffhard. Everyone is entitled to his/her own personal opinion, but this was just meant as a joke.
Please don't blow it up out of its proportion.

by the way, I can confirm it IS true, Blondie is in NY. I talked to him on the phone the other day.

Just glad to know Keith is ready, willing, able, way long, and big enough to be back in the studio.

He did, but maybe it's more likely to be songs for a new Stones album? Remember that Mick and Keith started making A Bigger Bang in late 2004, and if the rumors about a tour in the fall of 2009 are true, and that they indeed want to tour behind a new album, shouldn't they start about now (ABB ---> Started making the album in late 2004 and released in early August, 2005. New album ---> Started now and released in the late summer, or early fall of 2009).


So if all rumors about 2009 turn out to be true, we'll get the following:
- A new album.
- A new tour.
- Remastered Rolling Stones Records released for download and on CD (And didn't HighwireC mention 190gr vinyls too).
- A new marriage for Ronnie.....

i've been thinking that the stones need to re-examine their approach to working in the studio. i think they should find a conveniently-located rehab facility and build a studio there. it's sorta on the order of the mountain/mohammed dilemma...

advantages include being able to call on ronnie for his coupla licks per track at will. this will speed the process up. also, it's okay if keith wants to bring his booze and his party friends. it's keith, after all, and nobody tells keith what he can and can't do.
