I have a standar strat and it has 21 frets.I come across many songs like Knocking on Heavens doors from guns that for example in the second solo require 22 frets.Any solution other than buying a 22 fret guitar ?

When did Standart Strats have 21 frets? Mine is an American Standard and it has 22.

I guess you will have to go with the extra super slinkies and do a little more bending.

I believe all American Strats and Teles were 21 frets up until about 1986 or so, then went to 22 -- I guess maybe the change came when Fender started manufacturing in Mexico and overseas? Since then, made in USA Strats and Teles (new models anyway, not including reissues or special editions, etc.) have had 22 frets. Might have started a year or two earlier on Strats than Teles, but I'm not 100% on that.

But in general, as far as I know, the Standard Series, or whatever Fender is calling it these days, for some time has been 21 frets on the Mexi's and 22 on the USAs.

Interestingly, I've seen some Squires that have 22 frets. So I'm not sure if there's any real rhyme or reason to any of it, but there you go.

1. Tune down.
2. Bend up.
3. Buy a new neck.
4. Ignore that one squeeky little note.

I wish I had the money to get a tube amp and then a better guitar.

Well, start saving. You don't need a huge tube amp. You can get a Fender Champ for around $300-$400. You can get a G&L from $500 to $1500.

A 15 watt is just fine for my needs but I want one that I won't need to change it in the future.I was thinking for a fender blues junior.

Blues junior is a pretty good pick. I heard it and it isn't bad at all.

I tested a line 6 amp from a friend but it sounds so fake,so digital.I am more convinced now that I want a tube amp but only at 15 watt.Blues junior is a good choice?

Stay away from solid state and anything digital.

Ampegs are nice. Your best bet is with Fender, personally. They've got all kinds of amps. Hell - I have a mini-Fender, the battery powered one. It works great and it hilarious. I have a Super, Hot Rod Deluxe and a Champ. I don't have any other amps.
