Well I'm a few meters away from where they used to record here in Boulogne (studios no longer there)

I drive everyday through the Bois de Boulogne (of Too Much Blood fame) but I've never seen any guys buring bones there and by the city of Neuilly where Mick lived in the 80's.

I hear the mud sharks are biting today. And don't get me started on the red snapper.

As im a berkshire lad born n bread, the stones used to knock around here in the early 60s
The ricky tick club in windsor, 3 miles away
skindles hotel in maidenhead, 1 mile away, where the stones had there end of tour party in 1970
The adelphi building in slough bath road , now a bingo hall, stones played there in the 60s
The bridge pub in guilford surrey 30 mins away, my uncle payed them a tenner, and said they were awful and arrogant lol, and drove the old punters mad with what he called was noise.
And in my home town of maidenhead the stones played at pierce hall marlow road,
its knocked down now,and the war grave records office is in its place.

1966 -- ROLLING STONES CONCERT A GASSER! The Stones begin historic American Tour at Bowl on warm rainy June 24 night as 8,000 fans hear Mick Jaggar sing “Satisfaction”. After 10 songs, rain begins to fall harder and Stones rush from stage as youths follow. Lynn cops drop tear gas bombs to quell mob. The event makes world headlines. The Beatles consider concert here in August, but choose Suffolk Downs instead. Stones' concert tickets were 5 bucks.

A year or so ago, the local Dartford paper reported that a blue plaque would be put up at Dartford station, to commemorate the meeting between Mick and Keith. Hasn't happened yet.

I remember hearing James Phelge wanted to place a marker outside of Edith Grove.
I suppose that hasn't happened yet, either.

When was Pathe-Marconi studio torn down, leteyer?

I remember walking past it en route to the Stones' Parc des Princes show in 1990.

I was staying at the Hotel Mercure in Boulogne-Billancourt in June when I was there for the Springsteen show in June and was surprised to find the address of the studio with a google search(as I'd believed it to have been demolished). Managed to map it and decided to go out to find it, but it wasnt there anymore!

I was probably standing outside your house looking very bewildered!

2HITS you must live right near me!

A friend of mine who works in real estate is a close friend of one of Keith's drivers in the area and he has shared some great stories with us about partying with Keith at his place.

Very close to the college they practised at in Toronto for the last tour. I hung out many days and could hear them from the road practising - very cool. Saw them come in and out many times - i will post pics once i figure how to attach.

Also, not far from the Horseshoe Tavern where they played a surprise gig. Basically all over Toronto - the stones have hung out (restaurants, bars etc....)

Altamont Speedway about 30 miles away. I've never been on the grounds. The freeways that go right past were not there 39 yrs ago. It is a minor league racetrack. Their website makes no mention of the Stones being there. Just AJ Foyt & Al Unser. I can't remember any songs they did.

Fyens Forum, Odense Denmark. Bill was knocked out by electric during soundcheck in '65...or was it Mick? Don't remember exactly.

The place was demolished in '78.

Well, that's a landmark !!
Did he ever have a Stone as guest at home ?

According to my cousin's boyfriend (who used to work out at Charlane), only Bobby Keys has been there from The Stones' circle.
