Some great flyer / handbill from 1976 Tour of Europe. Amazing and rare item.

Matt, what’s next?

The poster for this show is even nicer, very colored
I don't own it, sadly

Chuck proposes the set list, Keith writes his songs in and then the final list is prepared. Love this kind of stuff, true history, true insight, proper collectible stuff... (absolutely love “Bob Wills is Still the King” too)

thank you all for sharing these wonderful images of gems in your collection. very yummie to gaze at!

I recently added the following self titled "Rolling Stones" pressing to my Stones vinyl collection: a white label/no label Dutch Decca – 118 505 DY 1968

With the seller we had a long second guessing if this is a test press of that otherwise pretty common record. Have you come across test pressings that look similar or is it just a label manufacturing issue (as if the labels simply ran out)? Looking fwd to reading your thoughts.

(deleted the picture of the cover - takes up a lot of space , i'm sure you know the album...

Test pressings usually do not have covers. Have you listened or compared the track spacing to confirm what is actually on the record. Interesting...thanks
for posting. I agree it is likely a test pressing though.

Thanks swimtothemoon, for your opinion.

I have listened (of course) and track listing is correct for the standard issue (no hidden mixes or extended or alternative cuts). I have more test pressings for which I sought the original sleeve to better store them, so that might have been done by the collector who sold his collection.

I'd like to believe too it's a test press, but most of the times they come with a white company preprinted label, and I had never seen one without a label on one of both sides.

The Rolling Stones (selftitled) 118 505 DY from 1968.
Cover is the black one with 2 pictures of the band with Brian holding a trident, same pictures that were used for the great sleeve of the compilation LP No stone Unturned.

OK, not likely ‘Rarities’ by some standards here, but I picked up some cool vintage sheet music in London and finally got them framed. You know...for the Gal Cave. cool smiley

How has this thread been dead so long! My concert caught stuff from the first 5 shows with a couple of extra picks for relative completeness:
