You can do what I have done. Do a search and save the home pages for the major auction houses to your favourites folder and go out to them on occassion to see the upcoming auctions.

It would be nice to have a thread about upcoming (rock) auctions. Sadly I always hear about it till after the auction. Not that I would have bought Jimi Hendrix's guitar...
