Atlanta 1975

Right now as we speak (as it were), there is a fine upgrade on the Atlanta '75 recording up on Dime:

It is a damn good show. Runs a hair fast, I think, and has the odd tape gibble here and there, but the recording definitely puts some of the crappier sounding '75 tapes, like Louisville or Jacksonville, in the shade!

I just listened to this upgrade in all its crystal clear and speed corrected glory (the original is ca. 3.5 - 4.0% too fast) and damn, THIS SHOW ROCKS! They are ON FIRE, the Keith riffage is unbelievable from start to finish. Even Outta Space sounds great. Wild Horses is the highlight for me... whoever says that this song sounded bad during the T.O.T.A. is freakin´ tone deaf.

And as if this wasn´t enough, we also get the Meters´ opening set which is a true gem.

Abso-f*cking-lutely brilliant.

Now all I need are verified pictures for this date and I can die a happy man.

Is the version posted above speed corrected? Mick and the Chipmunks just don't cut it for me.

Yes yes, it's a recording that leaves one breathless - unbelievable power from the band. Jagger wore his green outfit (same as Milwaukee) but w/red belt, while Keith had black jeans/white shirt. Ronnie: red top

Those are tiny pics, but from what I can see, they match what they're wearing in my pics (which I'm unable to scan). So...that's Atlanta allright

NO it is not speed corrected FYI. And, YES it IS Mick and The Chipmonks -- at least on Happy it is.

Too bad because it is a lower gen recording.

The Meters set is quite good and seems to run at the correct speed.

This was uploaded before I was into torrents,
4 BT (4 years before torrents so to speak).

I have been sent a cd-r copy from a very helpful iorr member,
so I don't have the original files, this prevents me from torrenting this.

It is on EL, currently without any seeds,
so you must request a reseed.

Given time, I could rip the cd-rs and upload it on Wetransfer,
this would also allow me to slow this down as recommended here by tornandfrayed.

Thx Stranger! I'll try this first... I had this show but for some reason I must have deleted it.

Are there any recordings for Greensboro, the next show on 31 July? That was my first Stones concert and for me, it was smokin' hot.

I was at this show as well as Jacksonville. Thanks for the link. It was a great show. Loved the version of "Tumbling Dice" that night.
