Thanks, I stand corrected re "Much Rather Be With the Boys" - the version I have is the studio version from Thunders' 1984 album "Hurt Me" - still, any JT fan should hear "In The Flesh."

No I didn't hear about that. Too bad. KFRC is some classic call letter's around these parts. I remember growing up listening to Dr Don Rose on KFRC...On another sad radio note. Did you hear Dave Morey from KFOG is retiring in Dec?...Although I'm still pissed about the time I won request o rama and he would'nt play Winter. I do recall a few years before when I won and I got him to play Memory Motel. A classic bay area radio legend IMHO. A great voice, somebody who still had a bit of freedom to play what he wanted. But he will still do [email protected]'s alway's been his baby.

Listening to Thursday night's BBC Electric Proms performance from Cecil Sharp House, with Maddy Prior / Tim Hart / June Tabor, replaying on my TV while I record it. (Haven't spotted myself in the audience yet.) Great evening.

I'm not sure if being a fan of early 70s folk and folk-rock counts as a guilty pleasure on this board or not, but it was lovely to hear some of the early Steeleye Span-era songs live again as well as things from Maddy Prior's new album (which I'm soon off to Amazon to buy).
