I'm thinking along the lines of how Ronnie opened his Drury Lane gig - alone with an acoustic 'Mystifies Me'. The Stones could do something low-key they don't need a big opener, their presence itself is a big enough lift. So maybe 'Angie' would be a good choice.

How about Jumping Jack Flash? It's been a while.

I would love:
all the lights turned off .
then a man says : Ladies and Gentlemen , the Gratest Band of the World.... The Rolling Stones!!!
then all people gets supermad.
then keef comes out and just one light is turned on , and he plays some fast and exciting riffs of "The Last Time" , then the whole band appears , and all lights are turned on.
the crowd gets mad , theres no lisa or stuff , just THE STONES.
they play in the old style , old classic songs+ lots of new invented classics thruogh all the show ( something we would love").
that would be a way to make a stones show.
they cant go on with all of that people on stage , they just need Bobby Keys and Chuck L. , but thats all .
who wouldnt love this idea???

I really like "Under my thumb" as startener om the LSTNT DVD from hte 80's. Both the song and the performance.

Why not something different like letting Charlie jazzing around a bit. I like Charlie - he's so cool and underestimated as a drummer.

But I'm happy if there is a next tour on planet Earth at all !!!

Not to be one humbug but there will be no more next tour...as we say in Hawaii "Dey pau already!" (There are done now).

They even said it themselves...Charlie only did ABB with the gaurantee it was the last. They might possibly do a gig or two or three here and there though.

For those lucky enough to be at the O2 last year...savor it! I know you will.

But why not "Memo from Turner" or "Downtown Suzie" (or Lucy) as the next starter, they're always makes me feeling guuuut.

If I had to make an educated guess @ the opening song or opening songs for the next tour,I would have to say Satisfaction or Tumbling Dice,maybe both at various shows.
