No dispute- strictly as a singer Steve Marriott totally outclasses Mick Jagger. Hands down, not even close. Very under rated guitarist as well. And definitely could give Mick a run for his money performance-wise.
But when it came to high quality song writing and having his head on straight enough to enjoy a very long hugely successful career, Sir Mick takes the prize. Steve ended up rockin out down the pub.....RIP.
