No Mick Taylor at Bospop Festival

Again Mick Taylor cancelled a gig.
This time he won't show up at one of the larges festivals in Holand.
The 3 days Bospop festival has a really great line up.

According to Barry McCabe Mick will be replaced by Snowy White (Bird Of Paradise)
Hope he will recover soon from his personal problems.

I heard his mother is very ill,.I stayed at my mother's bed when she got very ill.

The month before Italy, the end of March, he didn't show up in Basel, Swtzerland.
Just hours before the gig a cancelled this show.
Don't believe Barry McCabe will be his backing band anymore. It's the 3rd time now Mick let Barry down just a day prior to a show. A pity because he brought Micks music to a much higher level. Great songs, strong voice and perfect backing band for Mick to work with.
Not really a professional attitude for such an expierenced musician like Mick.
Hope Mick will find his way back to the stage again.

His Mum of course should have proirity. Gigs will come and go, Mum's don't.With that in mind why not just clear the decks for now. Not only better for fans but once I have found once you make a decision like that, you feel all better for it.

Mick is still a very talented guitarist.
I hope he can find the right vehicle to bring his guitar playing to a wider audience on a consistent basis in the future.
