I only was able to shake hands with Mick Taylor some years ago, that's it for me

yeah, at a meet & greet in zürich 2006. first keith missed my hand and i had to grab it again! ;-)
it was all over in a minute. just a group picture, no autographs, no private pics.
dont quite understand why they do it at all then...
but still it was kinda weird and somehow very special to shake hands with my idols!

I didn't meet Mick Taylor as such, but saw him at his Audience with MT in london recently (was sitting a few feet away).

I got Charlie Watts's autograph on the back of a festival program when he was playing with his Charlie Watts Orchestra. This was at the Bracknell Jazz Festival (in the UK) in the mid-80s. There was no security (no pun intended), and after the gig, which was in a big marquee, I wandered round the back and there he was, went up to him and asked him to sign. He seemed tired and oblivous to me, no doubt viewed me as just another fan etc.

It doesn't seem to mention the CWO, though he was definitely there. It actually mentions Rocket 88 in '79, I would have been too young to have seen that though.

Met Charlie in Warsaw 2007, got a handshake and an autograph.
Also, autographs from Blondie, Chuck and Darryl, and a conversation w/ Blondie (cool, yeah).


I forgot to mention them about many damn important things... So many things to tell them when I think about it now, but then it was hard to even say 'hello'

I met the stones in the Intercontinental Hotel in istanbul 1998. We spend the hole nigth at the bar with the Stones ,Lisa Blodie,Chuck,one day before the concert .
This was a wonderful Night.
After that I met them several times.

because I was just happy to be there and drink my Bud. You don;t bother anyone you get invited back. Pretty simple to understand ...

No,but I met a guy with a funny Scottish accent in a bar in Arlington tx in 1978 that said he was an original member of Humble Pie. He was little enough and had lots of stories but it may have(probably?) been BS.

I've meet them all and hung out with Keith for about three weeks. He's almost as crazy as I am. They all seemed cool to me.

Well, this may not count, but a friend of mine was working at the National Museum of Film Photography and Television in Bradford, Yorkshire when their IMAX film "At The Max" was premiered.This was the concert film -around 1990 I think.
Mick was very interested in everything, asking loads of questions about technical matters and swigging loads of lemonade.IMAX was relatively new then.
Keith and Ronniew were, well shall we say "just out of it".
Sorry if this confirms certain stereotypes...but this was just as was told to me at the time.

Charlie both during and after a Big Band performance at Ronnie Scotts in 1986 (also David Bowie was sitting at the next table and was very polite).

Chuck backstage before Wembley 95 3rd night (where he talked about the delicate negotiations that involved getting Mick to change the set list each night - on this occasion he couldn't persuade Mick that 'Love In Vain' would work at Wembley, although I did seee them do it at Brixton 3 days later). Also Chuck, Darryl, Bobby Keyes and Anita Pallenberg at the party after same gig in London hotel.

Have met Charlie, Ronnie, Keith, Bill, Mick T...but not Mick J.

I met Mick Taylor at a club in STLouis. Also met Dave Davies and John Entwistle (not the same show!) and had them sign a batch of cds. All very nice lads, especially Dave Davies!

I don't think it counts as meeting them if you don't have a conversation with them. So sitting close, meet and greet and seeing them go into a hotel don't count. So no, I haven't.

Met them all backstage in Göteborg. Met Mick T several times backstage, nice guy, brought me beer .
Met Bill one time.
Met Chuck, Blondie, Darryl and Bernard from the backup musicians.
