soccer can be most exciting, but when the match is boring (as Sweden against Greece today) it is really "sooooooo boring". But when it's not, it's great!

The never ending complaints of those who feel obligated to trash the game amaze me. If you are a fan of another sport please go enjoy those games where tv commercials dictate the flow of the the game. Not every game played in sport is going to be exciting anyway.

Soccer - I can take it or leave it.........

Two things I find disturbing though about the game is:

The melodramatic fake injury stuff to try and get a foul....what a bunch of b.s.

A big part of the game is to let a ball that's been kicked a 100 mph hit you up side the head.

Putain il sort d'où l'autre avec sa critique. Un bon match de foot c'est franchement excellent. Pays-bas-Italie était vraiment super, la grande classe. Par contre la France, ils peuvent rentrer à la niche 5*. Faut pas la ramener pour un sport où les mecs pour se frotter ont besoin d'armures (NFL), ça fait légèrement tarlouze. Au moins les rugbymen, ils ont pas peur de frotter les oreilles. Tout ça en français parce qu'en english language j'aurais eu du mal.

They're fighting (and have pretty much driven out) racism in British football, but it's pretty rampant in Spain and Eastern Europe.

I get your comment on homophobia and double standards in the game though, Glimmer.

I wouldn't say it's boring though. Depends who's playing. Brazilian, Portuguese and Dutch football is NEVER boring.

Follow boxing instead, that's my advice.

its called football to people who like the game, not soccer.

its the greatest game in the world, and waisted in certain parts of the world where they dont even have a proper league set up.
