The "PROPHET" turns 67 years old today (I'm sure he'd LOVE that description - lol), May 24th, 2008 and we are all so lucky to still have him performing and releasing excellent new music. No one writes like DYLAN, he's light years ahead of anyone else - just an amazing talent that is still working it in his late 60's. BRAVO BOB, let's hope there's a lot more Birthdays to come...... Leave a simple B-day greeting, tell us about your favorite Dylan song and how it effected/changed you, or leave your favorite "Bob" story.......

Happy B' Day Zimmerman! Favorite....too hard to call.... but my first song that sent a chill down my spine was Girl From the North Country... I was stunned by the beauty and sublime simplicity of Dylan's playing and singing...beautiful!
Happy birthday Bob. Thank you for all of the amazing music you have given us. My favorite song is Desolation Row. It left me absolutely breathless after listening to it for the first time.
Could never choose a favorite. A song I play incessantly lately is "Watching the River Flow" from Dylan and his kicking band's show at Red Bluff in California six or so years ago.
Still love Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands ,40 years since I first heard it , still sounds stunning today , not quite the same impact as back then , after all it took up all of side 4 of my first ever double album
Is that Clydie King behind Bob in the Sweetheart video? I love Dylan biographer Clinton Heylin's description of Bob in this video as "needing a new set of curlers."
Still rockin' and still coming up with gems like Modern Times. Long may you reign Guvnor. Fave song - Visions of Johanna. Sheer poetry that had The Beatles, Stones, Hendrix - all of them just gasping.
