I think cheap hair implants can have bad repercussions.

Elton John and many other artists have had implants that have worked out well.

I don't know why Keith does not spend the extra $$ and have it done right?

he should have a chat with Bono.

Elton's surgery - around the late 70's was not a success. That's why he wears what in effect are an advanced form of toupee. Not sure why his did not succeed , but apparantly its better if the patients are off "medication" when undergoing the works. Of course the procedure has come a long way since then.
Providing the donor site is "strong" i.e. lots of thick hair, also that the hair loss isn't too advanced, then it should work.

So for Bobby Charlton (English footballer 1950's-70's) probably not a good candidate.

Charlie Watts has surely had some improvements- very good results I would say.
Phil Spector, without hesitation, has not had any inplants!
Well, not hair ones, any road.

-maybe Mick should be helping out his Glimmer twin,
and offer to be his donor, then.

Anyway; I actually believe he use some dye.
What I was after is more like - we do not know for sure.
Even at 44 I feel more & more like a rare species with no grey.

Keith's curly hair is thru various manipulations.

I don't recall curly hair from any photos in the 60's or 70's.

All of a sudden once you reach 60 years of age you get curly hair?

Possibly a wig at this stage.

Keith's hair is obviously very important to him and his status as a rock n' roll icon.

"Possibly a wig at this stage."

Keith Richard is now wearing a thinning, grey, curly wig!

Who'd have believed it.....

maybe his got a natural 'wave' to his hair, so as he grows it out,
it goes curly naturally.
Maybe there's a hairdresser/barber amongst us, who can confirm this?

Bad implants and a need to reapply the black boot polish #1.

Really, Bono could probably point Keith in the right direction in regard to quality hair implants.

The bandana poltus thing has to be problematic performing onstage.

There have been those that have speculated about electronic stimuli underneath the bandana's but I personally do not adhere to such a theory.

until it looks like this, he shouldn't be worried enough
to consult the Bono

^^^ Boy that is gawd awful ^^^

While I don't believe Keith is a slap head there is some serious hair manipulations going on.

Keith should just get quality hair implants and be done with the extensions/wigs and bandana/poltus business.

Does Leonard Cohen also wear a hat on stage these days?

yes- but a bandana, to cover the thinning hatch,
wouldn't really suit Leonard, would it?

the bandanas and hats suit him more than 'manipulations', ever could.

I once read an article that suggested that Art Garfunkel had mislaid his wig/toupee when travelling on the train.

I'm suprised his "old friend" didn't write a song about it.
On second thought, Paul is also part of the follically challenged tribe.
