life is hard without BOB but it is very difficult for me too without the greatest french singer/artist/jazzmam/talkover inventor/pianist/reggae man (here with robbie & sly and wailers back singers) SERGE GAINSBOURG.
I miss him a lot.

I've been listening to a lot of Ska music lately.
This is a great compilation of Prince Busters hits:

Horace Andy - I Will Never See My Baby

Great song, one of my favorites from Horace Andy. As this video demonstrates the quality of Studio One pressings is not always very good (this record is warped causing the tonearm to jump).

BTW, i prefer this version of the song recorded for Phil Pratt: [media.putfile.com] (Audio only)

Yeah thank ya, great it's still there.

now if I needed to put some video material to the song for a YouTube clip, I'd go with this one - maybe add some Keith and Toots pics...and voila.

try it, run the tube clip without sound and play Pressure Drop in sync.

There is a wealth of great reggae re-issues out there at the moment. One I'd like to recomend is the the series on the SOULJAZZ label (great label and also a fine sopi in Soho London) the 100% - 500% DYNAMITE series. put those on your autochanger and chill, dance and groove.

chcek them out here.
